into the unknown

We'll never know for certain why those bhikshunis touched our bodies. Why us? Why did they target us, and what could we have done differently to avoid this? Did Tsepal, Lamsel and Pema have something personal against us or were we just in the wrong place at the wrong time? It's the uncertainty that is one of the most painful things. And knowing that we'll never know.

I've found the support and resources in this online community to connect with people just like me who never thought in a million years that they would have someone threaten to murder them in a monastery. It's unthinkable. But it happened, and now we can move forward together with love and acceptance. Forgiveness has been a cooling salve for us all. I cherish each and every one of you for what you have given me. It is priceless.

Looking forward to our Zoom meet Thursday.

Muah!
